Hunger can be such a complex issue, as there are so many triggers that can lead to food insecurity. For these families in Port Klang, it was the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
On July 19th, 2021, BAC sponsored the delivery of food packs via Lalamove to 100 B40 families in Port Klang. These families were identified by Persatuan Kebajikan Masyarakat Seri Perantau Selangor who was unable to deliver the food packs provided by FreeMakan due to the challenges posed by the EMCO.
