Just go into Caremongering and similar pages on Facebook, and the number of posts asking for help – in kind and cash may just surprise you.
Not too long back, Ms. Mei Ling, a Community Volunteer approached FreeMakan for assistance. 200 grocery packs were then handed out to be delivered to those in need at Pangsapuri Seroja, Laman Rimbunan in Kepong. Since then, many more families in need were identified, and have come forward to seek aid.
On 19th July, another 200 packs were delivered by our delivery partner Lalamove, to B40 families at the flats.
