UPLIFT Brings Hope and Support to Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian
On 8 October 2025, UPLIFT together with Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia visited Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
This visit focused on supporting a home that provides care for girls aged 7 to 18 years, while also opening its doors to their male siblings below the age of 12. The aim was simple yet profound. To ensure that every child, regardless of background, grows up in a nurturing environment that meets their essential needs.
Empowering Young Lives Through Practical Support
Understanding the daily demands of running a children’s home, UPLIFT and its partners allocated a total of RM3,699 to provide a Haier 2-Door Glass Showcase (865L), an essential addition that will help the home better store and manage food supplies for the children. The new refrigerator allows the home to safely preserve fresh produce, maintain proper hygiene standard and ensure that every child has access to nutritious meals throughout the day. It’s a small change that significantly enhances the well-being and comfort of the children under care.
A Collaboration of Compassion
The partnership between Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia and UPLIFT demonstrates how collective goodwill can make a tangible difference. Together, these organisations continue to uphold the true spirit of service, offering not just aid, but encouragement, empathy and lasting support.
Volunteers who took part in this programme emphasised that their mission goes beyond donations. It’s about restoring confidence, showing care and reminding every child that they are seen, valued and loved.
A Continuing Mission of Hope
The visit to Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian marks another milestone in UPLIFT’s mission to reach those most in need. With every OrphanAid initiative, UPLIFT continues to build bridges of compassion, creating lasting impact in communities across Malaysia.
For the girls and young children of this home, this gesture represents more than material support. It’s a promise that they are not alone and that their dreams truly matter.
