UPLIFT Brings Hope and Learning to B40 Children in PPR Pekan Batu

On 8th January 2026, laughter, excitement, and renewed hope filled PPR Pekan Batu, Kuala Lumpur, as UPLIFT in collaboration with BAC Education, reached out to 50 children from B40 families with a simple yet powerful gesture: the gift of learning. Through the distribution of essential stationery items, UPLIFT, through their generous donors and partners, helped remove everyday obstacles that often stand between young learners and their education.

For many of the children, a new school bag filled with supplies meant more than just stationery. Each child received a thoughtfully prepared set that included exercise books, foolscap paper, colour pencils, highlighters, correction tapes, geometry sets, a stationery kit, and a lunch box with a water bottle.

In lower-income households, a new exercise book or school bag brings pride, confidence, and fresh excitement for learning.

By supporting education at the grassroots level, UPLIFT is helping turn everyday school days into moments of motivation and possibility, opening the door for children to fully embrace their education. To walk into classrooms with confidence, pride, and renewed enthusiasm.

The smiles, curiosity, and eagerness to learn seen that day are reminders that education is not confined to textbooks or classrooms alone. It grows through compassion, collaboration, and people who care.
