Lighting the Path to Education for B40 Children in Negeri Sembilan
On 12th January 2026, Pertubuhan Bangkit (UPLIFT), BAC Education's NGO arm, continued its mission to nurture young minds by providing essential school supplies to 50 children from B40 families at SJK (T) Ladang Padang Jeram, Bahau, Negeri Sembilan.
This meaningful initiative, carried out in collaboration with Mr. William Sugu, reflects UPLIFT’s commitment to Quality Education (SDG 4), ensuring every child has the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
Each child received a carefully prepared set of supplies, including exercise books, foolscap paper, colour pencils, highlighters, correction tapes, geometry sets, a stationery kit, and even a lunch box with water bottle and school bag. These resources go beyond stationery. They are stepping stones for learning, confidence, and a brighter academic journey, giving every child a fair chance to succeed at school.
Initiatives like this shine a light on the transformative power of education, especially for children from underprivileged backgrounds. BAC Education shares this vision, inspiring its students to pair academic excellence with social responsibility. The College actively encourages participation in community-focused programmes that foster empathy, leadership, and a sense of civic duty, alongside formal learning.
This effort reflects a broader commitment to inclusive learning and demonstrates how socially conscious organisations can cultivate a culture of care, empowerment, and lifelong learning.
Education then becomes a pathway to opportunity, growth, and hope for every child.
