FreeMakan's Food Aid Relieves Underprivileged Families in Kajang

Imagine waking up every morning, wondering if you’ll be able to feed your children dinner tonight or if you’ll be able to afford groceries next month…

These dire circumstances are living realities for B40 families all over Malaysia. It has pushed them to extremes, resulting in hopelessness and despair. BAC Education’s FreeMakan campaign was created to remedy this situation, and revive hope within these families that are going hungry.

Mr Raymond, a BAC staff volunteer, identified 12 underprivileged families living in Kajang who desperately needed food aid. On the 8th of July, he facilitated deliveries of grocery packs to these families, in hopes that the supplies will give them a few weeks of peace and relief.
