Easing Hunger Pains for the Filipino Community

On the 6th of August, 2021, FreeMakan and Perlis Plantations Bhd partnered with Madelyn (Community Mobiliser) to provide food packs to 13 Filipino workers who had lost their sole source of income due to the pandemic. These 13 packs were a part of the 275 boxes that were generously pledged by Perlis Plantations Bhd.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, our delivery partner, Lalamove, managed to surmount all odds to successfully deliver the food to these families in need, who were so grateful for the aid rendered.
