[[TITLE]]Sponsor a Child for the PEM Fun Run 2026[[/TITLE]] Imagine a child choking… A toddler struggling to breathe… A family desperately hoping someone nearby knows what to do. In those critical moments, an ambulance may still be minutes away.
The first person to make a difference isn’t always a doctor or a nurse. More often, it’s a parent, teacher, caregiver or bystander who knows what to do.
The PEM Fun Run 2026, which is part of the Paediatric Emergency Week 2026, is a community movement dedicated to protecting children through awareness, education and action.
Led by a team of dedicated doctors, nurses and caregivers from the Paediatric Emergency Department (Hospital Tunku Azizah), this run, aims to bring together families, educators, healthcare professionals and the wider community to promote child emergency awareness, CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS) and child safeguarding.
For many children, being part of a community event is a simple joy that can feel out of reach.
UPLIFT, GiveBACk and BAC Education are opening that door for 100 children by sponsoring their participation in the PEM Fun Run 2026. With your support, we can give more children the opportunity to belong, participate and create memories that last beyond the finish line.
