Cyclone Ditwa has triggered devastating floods across Sri Lanka, sweeping through homes, crippling entire towns, and leaving over 833,000 people stranded without food, water, or shelter. Families have lost everything. Children are displaced. Livelihoods have been washed away.

Entire communities are now living in temporary shelters, unsure of when they can return home—or what will be left when they do. Many have no access to safe drinking water. Others lack basic necessities like food, clothing, medicine, and hygiene supplies.

This is a Community Service Initiative by the Malaysian Ceylonese Congress (MCC), BAC Education, GiveBACk.my and Uplift, supported by the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Malaysia.
