Hope in Every Parcel for 30 Families
in Ladang Raja Musa

In preparation for Deepavali, the peaceful community of Ladang Raja Musa in Kuala Selangor witnessed a heartfelt gesture of compassion and solidarity on 5th October 2025. UPLIFT brought warmth, care, and nourishment to 30 B40 families, ensuring that even in the most rural corners, no one is left behind.

Though modest in scale, the initiative carried immense meaning. It was a quiet yet powerful reminder that every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a world of difference to someone in need.

A Simple Gift, A Powerful Impact

UPLIFT once again showed that true service begins with sincerity. Each family received a food aid package containing:
- 5kg of rice
- 1kg of planta
- 1kg of murukku flour
- 1.7kg of wheat flour
- 2 litres of cordial drink
- 1kg of sugar, a pack of teabags
- 2kg of cooking oil
- A bag of assorted biscuits
- 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk

For these families, the food items represented more than daily sustenance. They were symbols of care, stability and hope. In a community where economic challenges often go unseen, such gestures light up lives in quiet but profound ways.

By directly assisting families struggling with food insecurity, UPLIFT not only addressed immediate nutritional needs but also contributed to Malaysia’s larger vision of inclusive growth and social equity.

What made this event truly special was the personal touch. UPLIFT’s volunteers took time to speak with the recipients, share words of encouragement and remind them that they are part of a caring, united community.

UPLIFT’s food distribution in Ladang Raja Musa marks another step in its ongoing journey to uplift lives across Malaysia. From urban flats to rural plantations, the organisation continues to deliver hope and dignity where it’s needed most.

This initiative stands as a testament to UPLIFT’s unwavering belief, that every person deserves to live with food on their table, strength in their heart and hope for a better tomorrow.
