UPLIFT Brings Comfort and Care to Persatuan Kebajikan Sehati

On 7 October 2025, compassion took centre stage at the Persatuan Kebajikan Sehati in Rawang, Selangor, as UPLIFT joined hands with Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia and BAC UPLIFT to bring warmth, comfort and a touch of dignity to the lives of those in need.

This heartfelt initiative was an act of solidarity, a reminder that every individual, regardless of age or circumstance, deserves to live with comfort, care and hope.

Empowering Through Essentials

The visit focused on improving the daily living conditions of the residents — senior citizens, single parents, children and persons with disabilities — all of whom are supported by Persatuan Kebajikan Sehati.

A total of RM4,241 was allocated to provide a range of essential electrical appliances to the home, including:

• 1 Wall Fan
• 1 Stand Fan
• 2 Blenders
• 2 Water Heaters
• 2 Irons
• 1 Microwave Oven
• 1 Electric Stove/Induction Cooker
• 1 Fridge
• 2 Water Heater Installations

Each item was carefully selected to meet the residents’ practical needs, ensuring better hygiene, improved comfort and a more efficient living environment. For the caretakers and residents alike, these were not just electrical appliances; they were symbols of renewed dignity and everyday convenience.

By providing essential items that enhance living conditions, UPLIFT and its partners are helping reduce disparities in access to basic needs and promoting the overall well-being of vulnerable communities. It’s a powerful demonstration of how local action can drive global change.

A Partnership of Purpose

Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia and UPLIFT showcased the strength of collective compassion. Together, they ensured that every contribution, whether financial, material or emotional, reached those who needed it most.
